Missouri, 2011

We arrived in Concordia and if I remember correctly, we were over the jet lag (that doesn't mean the boys were sleeping through the night).  That 3 hour flight felt like nothing after the 19.5 hours of flying time from Addis to Portland.  It felt like we were landing just after we got to cruising altitude.

So nice to spend quality time with family and what a busy 2 weeks we had in Missouri. Highlights? Jet skiing and boating on Lake of the Ozarks, fishing, wine tasting, fall festival (for both the kids and adults), Easter egg hunt in August, hanging out with all Oettings and riding a combine (and helping to harvest the corn!).

Otto can ride a 2 wheeler bike, thanks to the skuut. He got on Grandma and Pawpaw's 2 wheeler, and just starting riding, no questions asked. We were so proud, but not as proud as he was of himself.

How can we thank Grandma and Pawpaw for all the fun we had? Still can't answer that question. Haven't figured out how to thank G and Pops either? Invite you all back to Addis? That's already a given.

Wonderful to see all the peeps we saw while in Missouri. We love and miss you all!
