Yes, we've moved again. This really is only home show part II, but is actually our third home since living in Addis. Our first (temporary) house didn't merit a video recording to show you all.
We have lived in this house for 2 weeks now. It's a bit more cozy feeling inside with an enormous yard outside. See for yourselves! We love it. Minus the slugs that like it too. Any tips on how to get rid of them are greatly appreciated. The person who's remedy works the fastest gets a present when we arrive in the states for our home leave. Desperate? Yes!
Speaking of, our home leave is less than 2 weeks away. Where has the year gone.
Can't wait to see family and friends. It's been far too long.
Otto starts school tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Yes, he went to camp for the summer, but he doesn't seem overly excited for his first day of school. Partially because we've been talking about out trip home...and now he has to go to school? Arlo is good. Comes up with every excuse in the book to procrastinate going to bed. He thinks he's funny. His parents do not.
August is the worst month for rain, we are finding. Wish the rain would get down to the south/east part of Ethiopia/Kenya/Somalia border. Feel free to check out Mercy Corps website for details and ways to donate.
