6 houses, 4 cities, 2 countries, 14,606 miles and 2 amazing boys.... equals 10 years of marital bliss (isn't that the saying?).
No joke, Nate google mapped the houses we've lived in and came up with that many miles. Quite incredible in 10 years! We had a lovely day and Nate spoiled me rotten. I was a schmuck and didn't do anything as we had a deal just to go out to dinner. Well, we did that too! But he broke the deal.
Love you Nate, what do the next 10 years have in store for us??
Happy 10 years!:

Otto finished school and had a party to celebrate the last day of school. He had a lovely time, and made sure we took pictures with all his teachers and friends. Here is the proof:
Otto's teacher Meskerem:

Otto's teacher Fitsum:

Otto's teacher Mike and friend Feefee:

Otto and his friend Santiago:

Otto, Loic & Kaleb:

Otto's teacher Jane (Jane is the director of the school):

Otto, Monika & Lisa:

Here is a slideshow Jane put together for us which highlights Otto's accomplishments and activities, and great pictures over the last year of school:
The boys both started camp last week. Arlo was thrilled to carry his own monkey lunch pail and didn't look back when I said goodbye. When I picked them up, Arlo still wasn't ready to go, but did make sure to kiss the girls goodbye! He's a lady's man, that's for sure!
Arlo ready to go (can't get rid of that pappi. Note: he did NOT take it into school):

Otto was very helpful and took good care of Arlo:

Putting his monkey lunch bag in his own cubby and making a run for it:

The neighbors are out of school too, so we've been having fun with them. They love to come over and have "snacks" with us! They must think I have lovely snacks from the states...they are mistaken.
Arlo and Naomi having fun:

Oh yes, one more thing. Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Dad's out there. I know it's a week late, but it comes with good intentions. We love you Dad, Denny, Papa, Timmy, Rick and Jason..and all the other Father's who have such an influence on us all! The boys and I love you very much, Nate! Thanks for being such a great Dad.
Nate had a great morning, we all went for a hike up at Mt Entoto with our friends, the Lewis's and our friend Joe Lippi who was/is visiting. He is here doing research for his Master's in Jimma, Ethiopia, a 6 ish hour drive from Addis. When he first arrived, he stayed 2 nights with us, and we had a lovely time with him.
The boys woke Nate up and helped him open his fathers day presents:

On our hike at Mt. Entoto. Pete is the other dad in the picture:

Otto never stops bug hunting:

Last weekend we went to the German school as they open the gym up so kids can play. Otto loved the rope swing:

And Arlo was fearless:

Congrats to my cousin Becky and Steve as they get married today! We are with you in spirit. Many blessings to you both!!!
Miss you all.
